You probably didn’t know it was my birthday last Thursday, I (unfortunately) turned 23. Although on the plus side, I did receive lots of amazing presents. So as you’ve probably guessed, the next few posts will be reviews of some of my new presents!
Marc Jacob released 2 limited edition scents this spring; Daisy Delight and Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight. I am only reviewing Daisy Delight in this post, but I’ve had a smell of Daisy Eau So Fresh and it’s just as lovely.
Delight is a beautiful summer fragrance with notes of apple, Freesia, quince flower, iris, musk and sandalwood. It’s fresh, fruity and lighter than the original Daisy fragrance. It has staying power and you only need a few sprays to smell delicious!
One obvious thing I haven’t mentioned is the packaging, just like the other Daisy bottles, this does not disappoint. In fact, I love this bottle more – the bright coloured flowers and the light aqua liquid compliment each other amazingly.
You can get Daisy Delight from Boots and most other perfume shops. I’ve noticed recently, that it’s a really good idea to shop around for perfume. Prices seem to differ quite a lot with new perfumes on the market (especially limited edition ones like this). So before you splurge, I would check out a few shops both in store and online. Now there’s no excuse to waste your hard earned pennies!
The price is around £44.50 for 50ml – so not overpriced, but certainly not something you could buy on a weekly basis (well certainly I couldn’t).
Anyway, sorry for the random photo background, it was sunny when creating this post and I thought what a great opportunity to photograph in the garden.. Grass? Daisies? Summer? You get it, right?
Would love to hear your thoughts on this perfume or what your favourite perfume is at the mo!
