Your skin but better, does IT cosmetics CC cream live up to the hype?

Your skin but better, does IT cosmetics CC cream live up to the hype? IT cosmetics CC cream SPF 50+ review

I’m going to cut to the chase here and just come right out with it, I am IN LOVE the IT Cosmetics CC Cream. Now hear me out a minute, from since I can remember, I’ve been using Estee Lauder double wear because I love me some full coverage. But if I’m completely honest, I have been on the hunt for a foundation that gives me a great coverage that isn’t so heavy and that I can wear to work.

I discovered the IT Cosmetic CC cream from the QVC TILI box, and my gosh, has the IT lived up to the hype (see what I did there). I literally cannot put into words my love for this product. This may sound like an ad or sponsored but I’ve never (unfortunately) worked with IT Cosmetics. It’s just there are so many things I love about it.

IT Cosmetics CC Cream with SPF 50+

First of all, you literally need two pumps of the foundation for it to provide the most incredible medium coverage. I suffer with dark circles and pigmentation and it covers both, whilst still feeling extremely light on the skin. It’s also buildable too, and doesn’t look cakey.

If you follow me on instagram you’ll know I’ve recently really really, (no seriously, it’s becoming a problem) gotten into skincare. Which means when I saw it was infused with some amazing skincare benefits too, I nearly jumped for joy. Hyaluronic acid to provide hydration and various vitamins to help diffuse the look of wrinkles and give you a more radiant complexion.

It also contains SPF 50+ UVA/UVB Broad Spectrum physical sunscreen, which means it helps protect from all types of UV damage and works perfectly when your on holiday.

And it really is hydrating, really does smooth out the skins texture and actually never creases. It’s also long wearing.

The drawback is that it might be a little glowy/dewy for some of you. I also love my skin quite matte, but all I do to combat this, is to dust over some Laura Mercier loose powder and I’m good to go. I’m not even joking when I say this product has it all and I have literally used only this for the past 3 months. I’ve never had so many compliments on my skin whilst wearing it either!

IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara

I thought I would also mention my thoughts on the Superhero IT cosmetics mascara I was given. As there is a new IT Cosmetics stand in Selfridges, I decided to pop in there and pick up the CC cream and luckily enough was given a sample of the mascara to try.

The Superhero IT mascara provides extreme length and volume to the lashes. The amount of people that complimented my lashes when I’ve used this is crazy. It honestly makes my lashes look super long and mimics the appearance of falsies. I will 100% be purchasing the full size.

It has a bristle, plastic type brush, which I know some people won’t like. But I love a plastic brush, my all time fave mascara is roller lash.

Where can I buy IT Cosmetics?

You can buy IT cosmetics from Selfridges (they have a counter, which means you can go and swatch to your hearts galore). QVC also sell a lot of the range and usually have great deals!

Final thoughts?

I have even fallen in love with the owner, she has poured her heart and soul into the products and brand. She is fighting for diversity in the beauty industry and is super inspirational to me.

Now I don’t say this lightly, but if you buy any of the recommendations from my blog, make it the IT Cosmetics CC cream. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. If you want something with great coverage that feels amazingly light, you have found your answer.

Please gimme all your suggestions on what I should try next from IT Cosmetics!

I swatched this on my hand when I was in Sephora recently and I fell in love with the texture. Sadly they didn’t have my shade, Fair, so I couldn’t get it but it has been added to my wishlist. Even though I have oily skin, I’ve been wanting to move onto something more “dewy” or not as matte as I usually go. I would still add powder on top to keep the oils at bay but I’m definitely on the hunt for something with a lighter feel on the skin. x

I have combination skin and really love it. I also want to be a little bit more dewy but still quite matte (if that makes sense). I think you’ll love it, it’s really not disappointed me and will be repurchasing! It’s also lasted me ages 🙂

      Thanks for your comment lovely.
